Pilgrim’s Rest in Ceres, Fife is a contemporary countryside retreat, designed for both everyday living and short-term stays. Working with Studio Heim, our custom IKEA Besta fronts were crafted for the living room media unit — a refined, functional detail within a softly layered, tonal interior.
Our custom cabinet doors are designed to fit seamlessly with IKEA’s Besta, Pax, and Sektion/Metod cabinets but we also offer custom sizing tailored to your specific project requirements. And, whilst our fronts & panels already include some design and sizing tweaks on the standard IKEA door options, we can also accommodate custom sizes to further tweak your IKEA base. We can also add our designs to non-IKEA cabinets on request.
"For Pilgrim’s Rest we used an IKEA BESTA as the foundation and elevated it with Fronteriors doors, allowing us to introduce a bespoke, design-led finish in a more accessible way. We extended the piece with a custom-built bench section to create a more architectural, considered composition, then finished it with a quartz top and tailored seat cushion to soften the structure.
