Tsian, a member of our team, has just renovated her Dubai home and has the rest of us drooling over her Fronteriors kitchen. When she and her hubby purchased their home a few years ago, they knew that they'd eventually make a few changes - and opening up their kitchen to create an open plan with the livings spaces was on top priority. Naturally, Tsian needed no convincing on the pros on our concept, but her husband, who had his mind set on a custom-made kitchen, needed some persuasion. Needless to say, we've successfully converted him and the couple are thrilled with the outcome.
The renovation works included demolition of two walls with a new kitchen layout that incorporated a large centre island, full wall of tall cabinets (housing integrated fridge/freezers and generous pantry storage), relocation of the oven and sink. The Quooker tap offers boiling, filtered and sparkling water on demand and negates the need for that unsightly water cooler.
After much deliberation over which design to go with, Tsian opted for a mix of the Basic and Slatted doors in our signature beige. Safe to say the space has taken on a whole new personality - understand luxury.
Fronteriors was my obvious first choice - the designs and colour palette offered are beautiful, neutral and versatile. We honestly hadn't considered an IKEA kitchen before but with all those awesome internal accessories, 25 year warranty and fast delivery timeline, what's not to love! There’s no doubting the brilliance of the formula that combines the affordability and durability of IKEA’s frames with Fronteriors’ design and craftsmanship. We are so happy with our new kitchen which looks custom-made without the price tag; we love the way it turned out. -Tsian
